Councillor J. Innis re: Motion to Reconsider - Staff Report 2021-0236: Rehabilitation Master Plan (RMP) for Aggregate Operations in Belfountain and Caledon Village Sand and Gravel Resource Areas

That in accordance with section 11.3(a) of the Town's Procedural By-law, Council bring forward for reconsideration resolution 2021-193 regarding Staff Report 2021-0236: Rehabilitation Master Plan (RMP) for Aggregate Operations in Belfountain and Caledon Village Sand and Gravel Resource Areas; and

That to permit the motion to reconsider, section 11.3(b) be waived.

That the Rehabilitation Master Plan (RMP), Belfountain and Caledon Sand and Gravel Resource Areas, Concepts and Implementation Report, prepared by Dougan & Associates Ecological Consulting & Design, dated March 2021, attached as Schedule A to Staff Report 2021-0236, be approved;

That the recommendations of the RMP inform the Future Caledon - Our Official Plan Review;

That the Region of Peel be requested to include the recommendations of the Rehabilitation Master Plan appropriately in the ongoing joint Aggregate Policy Review Study; and

That a copy of the RMP be forwarded to the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Top Aggregate Producing Municipalities of Ontario (TAPMO), and the Region of Peel.
